Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing the Base-Hive dashboard, or using the Base-Hive API, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you are accepting these terms on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to do so. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Description of Service

Base-Hive is a multi-tenant SaaS platform that provides social media publishing, account management, analytics, webhook delivery, REST API access, and whitelabel OAuth embed functionality. Features and platform integrations vary by subscription tier.

Accounts and Tenants

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and API keys. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including actions taken by team members you invite and AI agents authorized to access Base-Hive using your API key.

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You may not create accounts using disposable or fraudulent email addresses. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Base-Hive only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You may not use Base-Hive to:

• Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party platform terms of service
• Publish spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or coordinated inauthentic content
• Automate fake engagement — including artificial likes, follows, shares, or comments
• Impersonate any person, brand, or organization
• Publish content that is defamatory, harassing, obscene, or promotes illegal activity
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Base-Hive systems, other tenant accounts, or connected social platforms in ways not authorized by the account holder
• Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data from Base-Hive beyond what is authorized by your plan
• Resell access to Base-Hive without entering into a separate whitelabel or reseller agreement

Base-Hive integrates with third-party platforms. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Base-Hive complies with the terms of service of each platform you connect, including rate limits, content policies, and permitted use cases.

API Access and API Keys

Access to the Base-Hive REST API and Execution MCP is provided under the terms of your subscription tier. API keys grant access to your tenant account and must be kept confidential. You are responsible for all API calls made using your keys, including those made by automated systems or AI agents.

Rate limits apply per tenant per endpoint group. Repeated attempts to exceed or circumvent rate limits may result in suspension of API access.

AI Agent Usage

If you authorize AI agents to access Base-Hive through the Execution MCP or API key, you acknowledge that:

• You are responsible for all content published and all actions taken by those agents on your behalf
• Content published by AI agents is subject to the same content policies that apply to human users
• Base-Hive's policy restrictions (including prohibitions on spam, fake engagement, and impersonation) apply equally to agent-generated actions
• Base-Hive enforces these restrictions at the API level, not solely contractually

Whitelabel Embed

If you use Base-Hive's whitelabel connect flow to allow your own users to connect social accounts through your product, you are responsible for:

• Obtaining appropriate consent from your end-users for the data processing described in this agreement and your own privacy policy
• Ensuring your end-users understand which platforms will be connected and what permissions will be requested
• Complying with applicable privacy laws in your jurisdiction with respect to your end-users' data

Content and Data Ownership

You retain ownership of the content you create, upload, and publish through Base-Hive. You grant Base-Hive a limited license to store, process, and transmit your content solely as necessary to provide the service.

Base-Hive does not claim ownership over your content, your connected account data, or your analytics data.

Intellectual Property

All Base-Hive software, design, trademarks, documentation, and platform infrastructure are the property of Base-Hive and its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to Base-Hive's intellectual property beyond the limited right to use the service as described herein.

You may not reproduce, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works based on Base-Hive's software or systems.

Suspension and Termination

Base-Hive reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, engage in abuse of the platform or connected social platforms, or if your account poses a security or legal risk. Where practical, we will provide notice before suspension.

You may cancel your account at any time through the dashboard. Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund of prepaid subscription fees, except where required by applicable law.

Disclaimers

Base-Hive is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the reliability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose of the service.

We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Social platform APIs are controlled by third parties and may change, be restricted, or become unavailable at any time. Base-Hive is not responsible for changes made by third-party platforms that affect the functionality of connected integrations.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Base-Hive shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to Base-Hive in the three months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Base-Hive harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party platform's terms of service.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by a notice in the dashboard at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Base-Hive is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
